Drop-in Art Activities: Escape to India

Sail down the Ganges River to a place of vibrant color, spicy smells and mesmerizing music. Spend the entire month of June escaping to India with us! Travel through the Thar desert to collect sand to create your mandala. Wear your rhythmic jewelry and listen to the sound of each step as you hike the Himalayas. Join us as we explore the outline of an elephant using light - make sure to hold on tight as he carries us on a journey through the art of India!

Every Saturday and Sunday! No registration required–drop-in, make, and take a fantastic piece of art home with you!

Join museum educators as they help families create artful projects related to the collection, special exhibitions, and family programs. Check out our monthly themes and visit often to participate in a different project each weekend!
