The Walters Art Museum is working with five high schools from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Frederick County to create a focus show related to the special exhibition New Eyes on America: The Genius of Richard Caton Woodville.

Explore painted stories in art! Little Girl in a Red Dress with Cat and Dog by Nicholas B.A. Nicholson. You and your child will use all your senses during this 90-minute, hands-on experience that combines a story chosen for its theme, a short tour, and an art activity.

No school today? Mini Camps at the Walters offers creative kids a unique and fun-filled way to spend the day! We will travel back in time to Baltimore during the 19th century as we explore our special exhibition, New Eyes on America: The Genius of Richard Caton Woodville. Work together to discover new inventions and create visual tricks! We'll spend the day in the studios creating artwork, playing parlor games, and visiting the special exhibition to learn, observe & imagine.
