Waltee's Cubs Baby Program: Story Time

NEW! Waltee's Cubs is our newest program for families with infants and pre-toddlers. Waltee's Cubs invites parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children birth to 18 months of age to bond, play and learn in the museum galleries during this 60 minute class. Each program includes activities for play and sensory exploration within our galleries and age-appropriate art activities in the comfort of our private studio. Cooing and crying are welcome!

Collecting Histories and Collecting Mysteries: Great Art Collectors of America's Gilded Age

Inge Reist will bring alive the personalities of Gilded Age collectors as they formed some of America’s most dazzling and admired collections. Her talk will also explore their motivations and methods of acquisition, as well as their philanthropic legacies. Reist is Director of the Center for the History of Collecting at the Frick Collection and Frick Art Reference Library.

This reinstallation of the permanent collection explores the lives, times, tastes, and legacy of William Walters and his son Henry Walters, whose private passion for art grew into a public mission to bring art to the people of Baltimore.
