Are you drawn to the rounded line of a circle, the sharp lines of a triangle, or perhaps the angled lines of a rhombus? Work collaboratively to discover, identify, and organize the elements of art throughout the museum. For children ages 6–8 and their favorite adults.

Seeing Music in Medieval Manuscripts

Composed of approximately twenty manuscripts and objects, Seeing Music explores music in its relationship with philosophy, religion, and the arts during the Middle Ages, when musical harmony and dissonance were thought to mirror the perfection of heaven as well as the disorder of evil.

Protecting Your Legacy: A Panel Discussion on LGBT Rights

Teen Homeschool Drawing Workshop

In this monthly workshop taught by artists, students develop their drawing skills through observation and practice in the Walters’ galleries. Students may work with instructors during a single session to learn basic drawing skills or attend multiple sessions to build a cohesive portfolio.
