The Refugee Youth Project (RYP) is a Baltimore City Community College program that provides after-school academic support and art enrichment programming to Baltimore refugee youth. The Walters partners with RYP to enhance programming through field trips to the museum and outreach projects.

Cultural Art Activities on the Sculpture Court
An exhibition of art created by refugee and immigrant youth will be on display, featuring the unveiling of RYP’s Mandala. The Mixed Media Mandala Installation will display themes of personal identity, issues of security with one’s self: physically, mentally and spiritually. Other activities include:

Representatives from Baltimore refugee and immigrant social service organizations
Video inspired by the refugee experience
RYP and Friends' talent show, "Talents from Around the World," in the Graham Auditorium.
