The first film in our three-part Egyptomania Film Series, Al Momia is considered one of the greatest Egyptian films ever made. Based on a true story, the film follows the difficult decision of two brothers to either follow the tradition of illegally looting a legendary cache of royal mummies to sustain their tribe, or to alert authorities to their tribal elders’ secret.
