This special Walk-In tour takes its inspiration from Dan Brown’s novel, Inferno. The latest in his Robert Langdon series, Inferno follows the Harvard symbology professor as he attempts to solve yet another riddle, this time drawing from Dante’s famous poem. Docent Joan Sobkov, who studied Dante’s Divine Comedy at Oxford University in the summer of 2012, will take visitors on a tour of objects in the Walters’ collection that are similar to those found throughout the novel. The Renaissance, Medieval, and Ancient Near Eastern galleries will be featured. Designed for those who have read or are currently reading the book, this tour will be spoiler-free!
As one of our series of Sunday Walk-In tours, this event is free and open to the public. Meet in the Centre Street lobby at 1:00pm.
