Since 1989, the Women's Committee has hosted this signature event which not only enhances the Walters' collection with interpretive floral arrangements by over 30 regional garden clubs, but also raises funds in support of the Committee's Education Endowment Fund and special museum projects. This year, the display will be located in the museum's Palazzo Building that houses 15th- to 18th-century paintings, sculptures, and jewelry.
Lecture and Luncheon
Friday, April 4th, 10:30 a.m.
Margot Shaw, founder and editor-in-chief of flower magazine will give a lecture and demonstration in the Graham Auditorium followed by a luncheon on the Scupture Court. Arrangements will be auctioned following the lecture.
25th Anniversary Celebration Dinner
Saturday, April 5th, 6:30 p.m.
To toast this milestone, a sit-down dinner will be held on the beautiful Sculpture Court in the Palazzo Building. A special surprise will be in store for guests during the cocktail hour.
Ikebana Floral Demonstration
Sunday, April 6th, 2:00 p.m.
A demonstration of various Ikebana techniques will take place in the auditorium led by a noted Ikebana master.
The Garden Shed
Friday-Sunday, April 4-6, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The popular Art Blooms pop-up store in the Museum Café area features flower-related items, garden ornaments, and furniture.
