Offered in conjunction with our special exhibition Designed for Flowers: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics, this one-day workshop will take you into the galleries to find inspiration for your own ceramic masterpiece. Students will then return to the studio with instructor and professional artist Amanda Pellerin to hand-build their own work of art. Slabs and coils of clay will be combined to create organic or geometric forms with pressed and incised designs. Pieces will be kiln fired and ready for pick-up in three weeks. This class is offered again on April 27, 2014.
