Spotlight with Gary Vikan & Lee Sandstead: Pilgrimages to the Camino De Santiago & Graceland

If you haven't yet seen the talk about Elvis, by Walters museum director Gary Vikan (or even if you have), you won't want to miss this lively conversation. For this talk, Vikan joins with Lee Sandstead, host of the Emmy-nominated television program, "Art Attack with Lee Sandstead."

While Elvis has successfully lured thousands of enthusiasts to Graceland each year since his 1977 death, for more than a millennium, pilgrims have followed the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (a.k.a. The Way of St James), a series of long-standing pilgrimage routes crossing Europe and ending at Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain. In 2010, Sandstead joined 100,000 achy-legged pilgrims in a trek along the Camino de Santiago.
