Peer One

Peer One is a video tour organized by artist Kari Altmann, using the museum’s new works of art website ( as a starting point. A group of artists, curators, users and bloggers will respond with videos to objects in the museum’s permanent collection. Altmann invited people in her online filesharing network to participate, and encouraged them to place the museum’s objects into a contemporary informational, commercial and cultural context. The final videos are available as a tour of clips correlating with specific museum objects or galleries. The results range in form from experimental video art to critical audiovisual essays.

Participants include Aleksandra Domanovic, Safarinon (Brad Benedetti), Aude Pariset, Oliver Laric, United Nation (Patrick Dyer), Jamillah James, Irene Rincon Iriondo,, Garden Club (R-U-In?, Andrew Norman Wilson, Kari Altmann, and others to be announced.
