Peabody Music and Dance on the Court: Crossing Time and Distance

Enjoy an afternoon of beautifully choreographed dance and live music performed on the Sculpture Court. Combining African Traditional, European Renaissance and South American Contemporary music performed by the Peabody Institute’s Cello, Guitar and Early Music ensembles with Peabody Dance, this performance was created specifically for the Walters' Sculpture Court. The performance premieres new choreography by Carol Bartlett, as well as musical arrangements by Serap Bastepe-Gray and Alison Wells.

About the Choreographer
Carol Bartlett, Artistic Director of Peabody Dance for the past seventeen years, is a diverse and prolific choreographer whose generative work with established and burgeoning composers has resulted in music-dance collaborative projects in theaters and festivals across the United States and Europe.
