Homeschool Workshop: New Eyes on America 5-6

This special exhibition workshop will explore the historic paintings of 19th-century Baltimore artist Richard Caton Woodville.  Woodville is known for his realistic depictions of everyday life.  Students will examine his works of art and develop a better understanding of the 1840s and 1850s in American and European history.

Explore the Walters through this workshop designed exclusively for homeschool students ages 5-12. Participants enjoy an introduction to the museum, a guided tour, studio activity and post-visit materials.
