Come together to celebrate the life and achievements of one of our nation’s greatest heroes, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through theatrical and musical performances, our special guests will help us to reflect on the importance of free speech and diverse communities. Watch President Obama's Inauguration Ceremony LIVE and experience MLK's famous I Have a Dream speech. Share your dreams, congratulate your personal heroes and tell your stories through art projects and collaborative activities! Continue an open dialogue and celebrate heroes of the past and present while by exploring our special exhibition, Revealing the African Presence in Renaissance Europe. Don’t miss one of the most popular festivals and the closing day of the special exhibition – see it for FREE today!

  • 11:00 a.m. - Gayle Danley performing Let Freedom Ring: Our Voice, Our Power.
  • 2:30 p.m. - Sparky & Rhonda Rucker performing Freedom is a Constant Struggle.
  • 4:00 p.m. - GRAND FINALE: Illstyle & Peace performing the dance and music celebration, Kingz.

  • 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. - Powerful Profiles and American Speech Landscapes, Studios A & B, and Hero Masks, Level 2 Lobby.
