Intercambio - Visita en Español e Inglés

Disfrútese del arte y lenguaje en el Museo Walters como parte de una serie de experiencias bilingües en las galerías. Cada sesión será informal y tanto los novatos como los con soltura son invitados a participar. Las sesiones serán facilitadas por educadores bilingües del museo y serán conducidas la mitad en inglés y la mitad en español, usando obras de arte para aumentar el vocabulario y fomentar la plática. No se necesita ninguna registración. Recomendado para adultos y jóvenes maduros.

Learning by Watching: Andean Textiles and the Fabric of Culture

Andean textile specialist Dr. Anne Tiballi, the Andrew W. Mellon Curricular Facilitator at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, will present “Learning by Watching: Andean Textiles and the Fabric of Culture.” During this engaging talk, Dr. Tiballi will explore the production of ancient American textiles, examine their significance, and discuss their impact on the broader material culture of the ancient Americas.
