Meet in the Centre Street Lobby at 5:45 p.m.

Join John Shields, Manager of Docent Programs, on a historical survey of women in sculpture and painting from across the Walters’ permanent collection. Contemplate women as early goddesses, mothers, religious and secular women, and even some who were figments of men’s imaginations. Join us as we explore how these women embodied the ideals of their era and the many ways in which artists celebrated their power and appeal.
