Walk, Wonder, and Create Tours: Set in Stone (Afternoon Session)

Online pre-registration required. Recommended for ages 6-8. One guardian per two children required.

Graduated from our pre-k program?  Join the big kids and their adults for our popular Walk, Wonder, and Create family tours! For ages 6-8, this once-a-month 45-minute experience allows families to enjoy an interactive tour of the Walters’ collection, and then create artwork that relates to the theme of the tour. This month, carve, cast, model and make! Surround yourself with marble busts, bas-reliefs, and bronze figures as we celebrate three-dimensional art. Sculpt with the best of them in the artists’ studio.

Teen Homeschool Drawing Workshop

In this monthly workshop taught by artists, students develop their drawing skills through observation and practice in the Walters’ galleries. Students may work with instructors during a single session to learn basic drawing skills or attend multiple sessions to build a cohesive portfolio.
