Design a costume, step into a frame, and become a portrait in profile! Campers will explore the faces and figures made by different cultures throughout history and celebrate what makes each person unique through a variety of art-making processes. Students will showcase their own two-dimensional and three-dimensional portraits in a special exhibition!

Summer Art Camp at the Walters offers kids entering 1st-5th grades a unique and fun-filled summer experience! Join us as we explore art techniques and cultural themes through gallery visits, in-depth art projects and collaborative theater activities. We'll celebrate at the end of each week with camper art exhibitions and presentations. Choose from five weekly sessions (camps are sold by week) and morning or full day class options. All camps are taught by professional artists and museum educators.

For additional information or to register by phone, please call (410) 547-9000, ext. 300.

Please follow these links if you would like to register your child for Before Care. During the care, museum educators will play games with campers and lead them in drawing projects. Each of these registrations is one-per-child. If you have questions, please e-mail Kate Barutha.
