Members Tour: Challenges and Care of Southeast Asian Lacquer

For members and their guests. No registration necessary.

One of the central roles of a museum is to conserve the treasures it holds. Each material offers its own challenges and requires different techniques for care and conservation. We invite members to join Meg Craft, Head of Object Conservation, to discuss the challenges presented by Southeast Asian lacquers. This tour will also give you the unique opportunity to interact with an object that has never before been displayed at the Walters!

This tour is part of our series of Members Tours.
