The Walters Art Museum and Baltimore County Public Schools celebrate students' artistic achievements with an exhibit of artwork inspired by the Walters' collection and classroom activities.

ARTCUBS PRE-TODDLER PROGRAM: Blossom

ArtCubs invites parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children 13-23 months of age to sing and sway during this 60 minute class. Each program includes activities that strengthen rhythm and movement within our galleries as well as age-appropriate activities in the comfort of our private studio. Wobbling and waltzing are welcome!

ART TOTS PROGRAM: Ready to Read?

Seeing Music in Medieval Manuscripts

This exhibition, composed of approximately twenty manuscripts and objects, will explore music in its relationship with philosophy, religion, and the arts during the Middle Ages. Musical harmony and dissonance were thought to mirror the perfection of heaven as well as the disorder of evil.
