Explore etching, learn linocuts and manipulate monoprints this week. Use your brayers to roll your work onto paper, fabric and recycled materials. Become the artwork yourself as we proudly wear our printed designs. Delve into the rich history of printmaking with us from press to print, and learn about print makers from ancient to modern times. Join us this week to find where drawing and painting meet!
CANCELLED - Our Artist’s Studio Experience offers 6th-12th graders the opportunity to work with a local practicing artist from a specialized field of fine art. Together we will explore and become inspired by the many landscapes in and out of the museum. Observe and document the world around you while experimenting with different techniques and materials. Work together to create a life-size graphite world to walk through and create pieces to build your portfolio.
