Andrew Norman Wilson (b.1983) received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011 and is currently based in Chicago with an online practice.
He has gained attention in the past two years for projects like FlowSpot, Virtual Assistance, and Workers Leaving the Googleplex. Recent video works involve the compiling of stock footage from Pond 5, a resource for journalistic video editors in which a user can find hours of bizarre and banal clips, 3d animations, and graphic transitions meant for the production of news broadcasts.
