Scout Museum Days Fall 2014: A Medieval Life

The Walters Art Museum invites you to spend a medieval afternoon exploring the art of the Middle Ages. Imagine the role of a knight suited in chainmail and armor, the job of a scribe creating a manuscript, and the skill of a troubadour performing for the nobility. Guided by museum educators, your scouts’ voyage throughout 14th- and 15th-century Europe will showcase the culture and craft of the medieval times. From stained glass to sculpture, the art and artifacts of Germany and France will continue to inspire creative thinking from the galleries to the studio.

Contact (410) 547-9000, ext. 325 or familyprograms@thewalters.org for more information. Pre-registration is required.

Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 10 scouts is required for each workshop. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration. We will confirm schedule changes via email. If you have registered for a workshop that has been canceled, you will receive a full refund.
