WHAT: Celebrating 2010 and the Chinese New Year of the Tiger

Kick off the Chinese New Year at the Walters! With beating drums, cymbals and ringing gongs, The Johns Hopkins University Lion Dance Troupe will herald the Year of the Tiger at 2 p.m.

In addition to the Lion Dance, visitors can enjoy free art activities on the Sculpture Court from noon–2 p.m. and Drop-in Art Activities in Studio A until 3p.m.
