What: Between Baghdad and Delhi: Artifacts and Mobility in Medieval South Asia
Focusing on three artifacts produced or reused in South Asia between the 10th and 13th  centuries, this lecture by New York University Professor Finbarr Barry Flood will consider how different kinds of mobility—geographic, political and social—complicate our understanding of the relations between medieval Hindu and Muslim cultures.
