Game Show at the Walters
Saturday, June 23, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Free
Whose show is it anyway? Join an amusing and unusual opening event for Public Property—the participatory summer exhibition at the Walters that invites your decisions and contributions. We’re kicking off the exhibition with a grand game show in our auditorium. Inspired by reality television game shows of the past and present, our show will feature the artworks as “contestants”, where the winner is determined by the audience and a panel of celebrity judges, including artist Denise Tassin and musician/performer Dominic “Shodekeh” Bouma.
Wiki Loves Monuments
Saturday, August 11, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Free
Pick up a map of monuments and public art around Baltimore when you visit Public Property. Throughout the summer, explore the city, and take your own photos to share and build an online archive on Wikipedia. Then join us at the museum for the final closing event of Public Property, when we will have an upload party, share photos and celebrate. Come have a drink, watch a Creature Feature film and experience the experiment one last time!
Please note: All programs are subject to change. Please consult the museum’s website at www.thewalters.org prior to the date of the program to confirm.
