Cracking The Code, Opening The Doors Fall Forum Discussion

This forum discussion will explore secrets, little-known facts and uncommon mysteries presented by a panel of experts representing several disciplines.

Price: members free; non-members $8 per session; $25 for all 4 sessions; pre-registration is recommended

This day-long forum is part of our Discovering Art and Science Lecture Series. There will be four sessions.

Session 1: Caleb Charland, Emerging Artist
Session 2: Gillian Brown, Artist
Session 3: David A. Hatch, Historian, National Security Agency
Session 4: Jim Sanborn, Artist

Walter Wick, the artist and photographer whose work is the subject of the Walters’ fall exhibition, has long had an interest in illusions, science and mysterious objects. This forum discussion will explore hidden secrets, little-known facts and uncommon mysteries presented by a panel of experts representing several disciplines. Panelists include artist emerging Caleb Charland; artist Gillian Brown; historian David A. Hatch; and artist Jim Sanborn, best known for Kryptos, a sculpture installed at cia headquarters in 1990.
