Scouting Programs

Calling all girl scouts and boy scouts! The Walters Art Museum invites Scouts of all ages to learn about the wonderful world of art while earning merit badges. This interactive, two-hour program includes:

  • Guided tour of selected artworks by a trained educator
  • Hands-on art activity based on specific badge and belt loop guidelines
  • Specially designed Walters participatory patch

Price: $10 per scout; no charge for adult chaperones.

Scout Museum Days March 2008- Around the World Art Adventure
Navigate your way through the museum on a scavenger hunt to learn about different art and culture around the world. Create maps and souvenirs, and prepare for the trip of a lifetime! Click on the links below to register for a Museum Day.

Senior Girl Scouts and Cadettes can work towards earning their Museum Discovery Interest Project on an independent basis.
