Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in the Division of Conservation and Technical Research
Gregory Bailey received his MA in Art Conservation from Buffalo State College, specializing in the conservation of objects. Though he has experience in the conservation of library materials, archeological objects, and industrial machines, much of his recent work in conservation has focused on decorative arts, including enamel, glass, and ceramics, as well as functional objects such as clocks and watches. He maintains an avid interest in digital imaging techniques for examination and documentation. His projects at the Walters will involve a variety of objects from the museum’s eclectic collections.
