These classic and stunning earrings are an adaptation of an original Greek necklace (ca. 200 B.C.) and perfectly complement any wardrobe! From the Walters Art Museum, the original necklace from “The Olbia Treasure” was found by Russian peasants in 1891 when they discovered an ancient burial chamber near the small town of Olbia, Ukraine where there was once a Greek colony. A reproduction of one of the oval set gems, these post earrings are 22K gold-plated with a center stone of black onyx and measure approximately ½ inch in diameter.
A perfect companion to our Olbia’s Treasure Brooch!
