Strips were often used by the Gee’s Bend quilters to build yet another pattern into their unique work especially when working with corduroy. This richly colored, 100% silk scarf is a detail from “Strips” a vibrant quilt by Annie Mae Young. With rolled hems, it measures 14 inches by 59 inches.
