Walters Across Maryland Trunk Program
The Walters Across Maryland Trunk Program is a museum-school partnership designed to serve schools within the state of Maryland that are unable to participate in our regular school tours and outreach program. This program has an Ancient World focus and is designed for grades 5 to 7.
The Walters Across Maryland Trunk is FREE and includes:
- Background information on the Ancient Near East, Egypt, Greece, and Rome
- Lesson plans and studio activities
- PowerPoint presentation
- Artifact reproductions
- Photographic reproductions of objects from the Walters collection
- Educational books
- Virtual Tour of the Walters Art Museum on DVD
Walters Across Maryland and all its contents align with the Social Studies, Language Arts, and Visual Arts Objectives of the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum.
