An Evening at the Walters

Over 500 art enthusiasts and philanthropists alike will gather for this sell-out event, an unparalleled evening of culture and celebration in support of the Walters Art Museum. Join us for another spectacular occasion as the museum commemorates nine decades of bringing together our thriving community and distinguished collection for enjoyment, discovery, and learning.

Each gala is an evening of renewed commitment to the ongoing impact and mission of the museum. In our 90th anniversary year, we’ll illuminate the art in the Walters care, spotlight artists, and celebrate local community partners and collaborators. Gala guests will begin the evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the Sculpture Court, then dine in the intimate galleries surrounded by works of art from seven millennia of human innovation. At 9 p.m., gala and party guests alike are invited back to Sculpture Court to dance and enjoy exquisite cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts, and cap the night off with specially designed lounges.

As the museum’s largest fundraiser, proceeds from the gala are vital to continuing the museum’s work, advancing our region’s creative economy through investment in local artists and communities, and offering free admission and dynamic programming to all.
