The Walters’ galleries hold art and artifacts from all over the world, including Egypt, Nubia, Tibet, India, Nepal, Japan, and South Arabia. In this session, kids will travel the globe through the art of our collections, exploring languages and timeless stories from different countries and eras, and then create their own artwork inspired by these museum journeys.
Inspire your child’s creativity and passion in one of our weeklong summer camp sessions. Each week, campers will engage with a different theme, from architecture to fashion, that will inspire them to create their own masterpieces. Students will connect with art from around the world and meet new friends in a fun, playful environment as professional educators guide them in learning to use a variety of materials. Finally, students will display their work in a showcase of all they’ve learned during their time at the Walters.
Weeklong camp sessions for grades 1-2 and for grades 3-5 are held Monday through Friday, from June 24 through August 9. Before Care 8:30–9 a.m. & After Care 4–5:30 p.m.
