Summer Camp: Stories in Art

July 22–26, 2019, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Loading Events

Art is all about stories, like the triumphs of a Roman emperor or a pilgrim’s long journey. In this session, students will learn about art and artifacts from around the world to uncover the hidden stories within them. Then, they’ll create and share stories of their own through art. A great experience for aspiring writers and storytellers!

Your child’s creativity will soar during our week-long summer camp sessions. Each week, campers will engage with a different theme, from architecture to travel, that will inspire them to create their own masterpieces. Elementary-level students will connect with art from around the world and meet new friends in a fun, playful environment as professional educators guide them in learning to use a variety of materials. At the end of each week students will display their work in a showcase of all they learned during their time at the Walters.

Summer Camp at the Walters is the perfect opportunity to nurture a lifelong love of art.

Member registration begins February 4, non-member registration opens February 11.
