Summer Camp: Heroes

July 29–August 2, 2019, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

The mighty Hercules, heroic Judith, and adventurous Gilgamesh are some of the heroes students will encounter in this session. After learning all about feats of gallantry and derring-do, campers will create art about their favorite heroes, including those in their own lives.

Your child’s creativity will soar during our week-long summer camp sessions. Each week, campers will engage with a different theme, from architecture to travel, that will inspire them to create their own masterpieces. Elementary-level students will connect with art from around the world and meet new friends in a fun, playful environment as professional educators guide them in learning to use a variety of materials. At the end of each week students will display their work in a showcase of all they learned during their time at the Walters.

Summer Camp at the Walters is the perfect opportunity to nurture a lifelong love of art.
