Join us at the Walters’ free art-making activities for weekend fun! Inspired by our collection, you can create your masterpiece at the museum or take supplies home. This Saturday will include our regularly scheduled art-making with the addition of two performances by local woodwind quintet, Aura Winds!

Free, no registration required. All ages welcome.

Aura Winds is a Baltimore-based woodwind quintet consisting of undergraduate performance students at the Peabody Institute. The quintet consists of Isabelle Jamois (flute), Elizabeth Perez-Hickman (oboe), Sophie Bracken (clarinet), Suzie Lee (french horn), and Logan Jawgiel (bassoon). The ensemble enjoys curating and presenting a variety of instrumental pieces that range from well-known classics to more newly-composed works. The ensemble aims to change the way people perceive music by pairing it with other mediums of artistic expression and presenting instrumental music in different venues.

Drop-In Art Making is made possible thanks to generous support from BGE and The Walters Women’s Committee Legacy Endowment.
