We invite PreK-12 teachers to join us for an evening of Ethiopian refreshments and to learn about Ethiopian art and history. Enjoy tours of our exhibition Ethiopia at the Crossroads with Christine Sciacca, Curator of  European Art, 300-1400 CE, and guest contemporary curator and artist Tsedaye Makonnen, and discover a new classroom resource highlighting Ethiopian artworks. Afterwards, teachers are welcome to join the Sketching Sessions program to learn drawing techniques from 6-7:30 p.m. in the galleries.

Capacity is limited to 30 and available on a first come, first served basis. Registration opens in November and closes January 11, 2024.
