July 1-5 (short week)
Kings, knights in armor, dragons, and sword-wielding maidens abound during this week all about the enchanting art of the medieval world. Students will learn about the medieval period and how the artists of the era created some of the stunning works on view in the museum, then create works of their own.
Inspire your child’s creativity and passion in one of our weeklong summer camp sessions. Each week, campers will engage with a different theme, from architecture to fashion, that will inspire them to create their own masterpieces. Students will connect with art from around the world and meet new friends in a fun, playful environment as professional educators guide them in learning to use a variety of materials. Finally, students will display their work in a showcase of all they’ve learned during their time at the Walters.
Weeklong camp sessions for grades 1-2 and for grades 3-5 are held Monday through Friday, from June 24 through August 9. Before Care 8:30–9 a.m. & After Care 4–5:30 p.m.
