In honor of Defenders’ Day, we look at scenes of battle and bravery. What does courage look like in works of art from across the centuries? Hear the stories of some of the battles and leaders seen in artworks in the Walters’ collection, and reflect on what patriotism and honor mean to you.
Walk-in tours feature unique themes and aspects of the museum’s extensive collection, and are open to visitors of all ages. Tours are conducted in Spanish the first Saturday of each month, allowing visitors of all ages and language levels to learn and practice Spanish, and to explore artwork from around the world.
