Making art is frequently a political act. Sometimes we forget that the art we consider “classic” or “traditional” today was seen as revolutionary in its time. During this walk-in tour, we explore the intersection of art and politics throughout history.

These free tours feature unique themes and aspects of the museum’s extensive collection and are open to visitors of all ages. On the first Saturday of each month, the Walters offers a free tour in Spanish from 1 to 2 p.m.
