The galleries of the Walters are full of strong and sacred women from across the centuries. From Saint Barbara, who was locked up in a tower by her father, to Judith, who tricked an enemy king to save her people, explore the stories of divinely powerful women in our collection.

These free tours feature unique themes and aspects of the museum’s extensive collection and are open to visitors of all ages. On the first Saturday of each month, the Walters offers a free tour in Spanish from 1 to 2 p.m.
