Making art is frequently a political act. Sometimes we forget that the art we consider “classic” or “traditional” today was seen as revolutionary in its time. During this walk-in tour, we explore the intersection of art and politics throughout history.
These journeys through the Walters’ collection feature unique themes and are open to visitors of all ages.
Walk-in tours are available every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. On the first Saturday of each month, the Walters offers a free tour in Spanish from 1 to 2 p.m.
