Walk-In Tours

Meet in the Centre Street inner lobby. Tours are on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. and are free. Tour schedules and topics are subject to change. Registration is not required.

Fabergé and the Russian Crafts Tradition: An Empire’s Legacy

This exhibition explores the Russian crafts tradition that culminated in the creativity of the workshop of Carl Fabergé, with over 70 stunning objects on display—including two Imperial Easter Eggs purchased by the museum’s founder, Henry Walters. 

After Fabergé

Time: 10:00 AM–05:00 PM

Five digital prints by artist Jonathan Monaghan present finely-crafted, surreal versions of the famous Fabergé Imperial Easter eggs, two of which are in the Walters’ collection. His large-scale prints blend the dazzling detail of the original masterworks with modern culture.

On the Rocks: A Drinks Party

Kick off the holiday season with a Russian twist on the popular event Rye Rocks at the Walters. Enjoy handcrafted cocktails mixed by Baltimore’s favorite bartenders while celebrating the fabulous new exhibition Fabergé and the Russian Crafts Tradition: An Empire’s Legacy. Proceeds benefit the Walters and its exhibition and education programs.

Make Night: Candle Making

Letta Moore of Knits, Soy & Metal returns to the Walters to o er a workshop on handmade candles. Learn about scent palettes and create two unique candles—perfect if you still need to give a gift or two for the holidays.
