In partnership with Education Based Latino Outreach, the Walters celebrates Día de los Tres Reyes Magos, Day of the Three Kings. In many Hispanic communities, the 6th of January is set aside to celebrate the Christian belief in the coming of the three magi to offer gifts to the newly born baby Jesus. Known also as the Epiphany, the day is just as important as Christmas in México, Puerto Rico, Spain and many other Latin American countries. The Walters' celebration on this day will feature performances, art activities, a visit from the Three Kings, and Rosca de Reyes or Kings' cake. Whatever your holiday tradition is, come join us for this festive celebration!
