Summer Camp: Creative Exploration 3rd-5th Grade (Morning Only)

Monday, July 6, 2015Friday, July 10, 2015

08:30 AM–12:30 PM

Registration Ended

How are colors mixed? Where do pigments come from? What effect can line and texture have on your mood? How can a 2D picture look 3D? In the studio participants will experiment with a variety of art techniques and materials, and create artwork inspired by their own imaginations for an out-of-the-box exhibition.

Summer Camp at the Walters offers kids entering grades 1–5 a unique and fun-filled summer experience! Join us as we explore art techniques, cultural themes, and art in everyday life through gallery visits, art projects, and collaborative activities. At the end of each week we will celebrate with art exhibitions and presentations.

Choose from five weekly sessions (camps are sold by the week) with morning or full-day options. All camps are taught by professional artists and museum educators.
