ART/SOUND/NOW is a live music series in which performers use sound to create a new context for viewing the galleries of the museum. For this program, Amy Reid will use her music to explore the processes of destruction and preservation in the Museum’s galleries of Ancient Near Eastern art. Performer TRNSGNDR/VHS will examine the culture and aesthetics of seventeenth-century European art through an immersive, multi-sensory installation in the Baroque galleries.
