Hula hoops are fun and functional, and a great excuse to feel like a kid again! Enjoy a docent-led tour of some of the Walters’ most impressive wood sculptures, and then participate in this exciting two-session Make Night workshop. Learn to build, sand, and paint your own hula-hoop using wood salvaged from deconstructed Baltimore homes with the Station North Tool Library’s Surface Project, and learn firsthand how materials can be reused in creative ways. Part two of the workshop will be held offsite on Saturday, May 20 1-3 p.m. at Station North Tool Library, 417 E. Oliver Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
