Peabody Academy Festival Orchestra

Promising young musicians from the Peabody Preparatory Performance Academy for Strings and Pre-Conservatory Violin Program will present a string orchestra concert featuring works by Bach, Walker, and Janácek. The Sculpture Court provides an idyllic background for these musicians. Presented in collaboration with the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Free

Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools Student Art Show

The Walters Art Museum and the Association for Independent Maryland and DC Schools (AIMS) are excited to celebrate the artistic achievement of students in grades K–12. This year’s exhibition will feature works in a variety of mediums from over 25 AIMS schools, showcasing the creative learning taking place in arts classrooms throughout the Baltimore area.
