Lotus Petal Earrings

Simple, yet beautiful, these vermeil petal-shaped beads are topped with a simple bead of lapis. In ancient Egypt, jewelry was often worn as a protective talisman. Gold was believed to reflect the life-giving rays of the sun. The color and brilliance of gem stones traditionally determined their value and religious significance. Because these are natural semi-precious stones, no two stones are alike and may vary slightly in color. Earrings hang approximately 1 1/2 inches long.
